Flounder is a major character in the 2023 remake of The Little Mermaid. He is a tropical sea fish who is Ariel's best friend.

Flounder is voiced by Jacob Tremblay.

Physical appearance

Flounder is a tropical yellow fish with blue stripes similar to his animated counterpart. He has fins, dorsal fins, bottom fins, and tails that are transparent.

Trivia

• In the original film, Flounder brought Eric's statue to Ariel's grotto. However, in the remake, Ariel dragged it in by herself.
