Flik is the protagonist of the 1998 Disney/Pixar film, A Bug's Life. He is voiced by Dave Foley.

Flik is an outcast among the Ants and lives on Ant island. He also has a crush on Princess Atta.

Flik is a tall, lanky blue ant and considered handsome from ant standards. He also has blue eyes.
Personality[]
Flik is an insecure ant with a good heart with strong intentions. However, sometimes things can get out of hand. An outcast among his people, he makes inventions that help benefit others, but some people don't realize is that they actually are quite helpful.However, only the youngest princess, Princess Dot actually likes his inventions. Flik was initially scared of Hopper, however, when he confronts him a second time, Flik defends the other ants, which moves them to stand up against Hopper and defeat him once and for all. In the end of the film, people are seen using Flik's inventions used for harvesting their grains and other plants.
He is also quite a romantic, shown to have a crush on Princess Atta. However, she never seems to return his affections until the end of the film. He is shown to have fallen in love with her, as even the circus bugs can see it too. He is also quite brotherly with Princess Atta's younger sister, Dot. He is very protective of her and acts as an older brother towards her. Flik can also be quite nerdy and creative at the same time. Most of his inventions he believes backfire on him and thinks of himself as a guaranteed failure. However, Flik's friends disagree with him and point out that if it weren't for him, then the Circus bugs would have never become the people they are today.
