| ~ Fleur's fierce loyalty to Harry Potter |
Fleur Isabelle Weasley (née Delacour) is a character in Harry Potter, a series of novels written by JK Rowling.
In 1994, Fleur was one of the four wizards Who competed in the Triwizard Tournament but she had disdain for the Hogwarts School champions Harry Potter because of his age and the fact that Hogwarts already had Cedric Diggory. However they became close friends after Harry saved her sister's life. Before the third task for the Triwizard tournament in 1995, Fleur met her future husband, Bill Weasley. The Triwizard tournament ended in tragedy with the death of Cedric Diggory, much to Fleur's horror.
During the summer of 1995, Fleur and Bill reaquainted with each other over a job at Gringotts. After a year of dating, the two became engaged during the summer of 1996 and stayed at the Burrow, where she got along with Harry and most of the boys, but Fleur got on Molly and Ginny's nerves. Fortunately Molly changed her opinion of her future daughter-in-law when Fleur expressed genuine concern for Bill after he was viciously attacked by Fenrir Greyback. She and Bill married in 1997 and helped participate the the battle of Hogwarts, in which Fleur tragically lost her brother-in-law Fred Weasley and some of her allies like Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks.
However Fleur and Bill would go on to have three children; two girls and a boy.

Tri-Wizard Tournament[]
The Goblet of Fire[]
In October 1994, Fleur and her school spent her last year at Hogwarts for the Triwizard tournament. She was presumably a star pupil, as she danced on her own, unlike her other fellow students. She was accepted as her school's champion.
Fleur succeeded in her first Task and went to the Yule Bal with a Durmstrang student. However, during the second, Fleur was disqualified trying to save her little sister. Luckily Harry saved her. A grateful Fleur thanked him for saving Gabrielle and Ron as well.
During the third task, Fleur was stunned by Victor Krum. Tragedy struck when Cedric was killed by Voldemort. In the aftermath, Fleur and her classmates returned to France. However, Fleur remained forever thankful of Harry for saving her sister, as she would remember it when the met again the following year
Second Wizarding War[]
Summer Job[]
Over the course of Summer 1995, Fleur got a part-time job at Gringotts. It was then that she was reacquainted with Bill Weasley, who had returned from Egypt and taken a desk job to help the Order of the Phoenix, and the two began dating.
The Half-Blood Prince[]
In 1996, they soon became engaged and went to stay with Bill's family to get to know them better. It was here that Fleur and Harry met for the first time since the Triwizard tournament, where she showed her gratitude for Harry for saving her sister last year.
During Harry's stay at the Burrow, he realized that the female members of Bill's family disapproved of their relationship and thought Fleur as nothing more than a self-centered woman, especially Ginny Weasley (who nickname her Phlegm), Molly Weasley and Hermione Granger.
Only Harry and the other males were at peace with Fleur and Harry was the only one who wasn't infatuated with Fleur due to their platonic relationship. In 1997, during the Battle of Astronomy Tower, Bill was attacked by the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, where Fleur was horrified to see her fiance hurt. At first Molly assumed that Fleur would've broken off the relationship with Bill because the incident would leave him horribly scared. However, the French witch showed more concern for Bill's well-being over his appearance. This answer seemed to resonate with Molly, allowing her to finally see Fleur's true colors. She offered Fleur the use of her Aunt Muriel's goblin-made tiara for her wedding day. In the days following, Fleur took care of Bill as he recovered from his injuries, and attended the funeral of Albus Dumbledore.
Battle of the Seven Potters[]
On July 27, 1997, Fleur volunteered to disguised herself as Harry while allowing him to to escape with Rubeus Hagrid. However, during the exchange, Mad-Eye Moody died during the Battle, which Fleur and Bill personally witnessed. They managed to escape they're pursuers and relay the news that's Moody died to their friends and family. Unfortunately, George's ear had also been damaged accidentally by Severus Snape. Fleur suspected that someone betrayed the order of the Phoenix as they were able to tell which Harry was the real one, completely unaware that the Battle of the Seven Potters had been Albus Dumbledore's plan he gave to Snape, who tricked Mandungus Fletcher into thinking the plan was his idea.
Despite everything, Fleur and Bill married each other at the Burrow; but it was interrupted by Death Eaters after Kingsley sent a patronus warning them the Ministry has fallen. Fleur and Bill retreated to Shell Cottage, before they were eventually joined by Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Dean, and Oliviander after being rescued from Malfoy Manor by Dobby, who died during the escape attempt. Fleur and Bill allowed Harry and their allies to give Dobby a proper burial on the grounds. Over the next few weeks, Fleur started caring for Harry and his friends, and assumedly especially Hermione the most, since she suffered torture from Bellatrix.
Battle of Hogwarts[]
On May 2, 1998, Fleur and her husband participated in the Battle of Hogwarts. However, her brother-in-law Fred, was killed in an explosion on the seventh corridor and some of her friends, including Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks.
Later life[]
Fleur and Bill later had three children: Victoire, Dominique, and Louis. She would eventually have many nieces and nephews though her many in-laws.
Personality[]
Fleur is a young woman who hails from France and part of the Delacour family. Initially, Fleur appeared snooty, uptight, and fairly, had the lowest regards towards Harry when he first joined as part of the Tri-Wizard tournement, finding him unworthy of the title. However, Fleur is actually a caring and nice person underneath, as she thanks Harry for saving her sister's life, holding her in that regard. Molly Weasley once thought of the same thing when she first met Fleur and insisted she was not right for her son, Bill. However, the family changed their opinion of Fleur when they saw her more concerned for Bill's safety rather than his looks.
She was fiercely protective of her family, which included her younger sister, her husband, and towards Harry, Ron and Hermione, making sure they were alright after the Battle of Hogwarts.

An in story explanation could be because Fleur lived in Britain long enough for her to adapt a British accent. In real life, people who stay in another country for a long time can pick up the accent.
- She is fussy, motherly, and protective just like her mother-in-law, Molly. Harry compared the two, when he, Ron and Hermione were at Shell Cottage, as she pampered them like Mrs. Weasley.
