Eywa (also known as the All Mother or the Great Mother) is the unseen cosmic entity and deity of Pandora identified as a biological sentient guiding force of life by the humans. Of all the creatures, Eywa is the closest to the Na'vi, especially Kiri, despite her being half-Avatar. They celebrate, pray to, and give thanks to Eywa in many of their cultural practices. She is also represented by the color indigo, as are Woodsprites, which are interpreted as signs from Eywa.
Despite her power, Eywa is a biological entity not omniscient; however she is able to tell if a human has good intentions or not, as evident when she spared Jake Sully and his allies after they betrayed the RDA.
