Evelyn Tate is a mentioned-only character in Teen Wolf. She is the wife of Henry Tate and the adoptive mother of the Werecoyote Malia Tate.
Unknown to the Tates, Malia was a werecoyote and actually the biological daughter of Peter Hale and Corinne/The Desert Wolf.

One day on a Full Moon, Malia and her mother started arguing in front of Kylie, who was just playing with her doll. Malia didn't remember much of the argument; the only thing she remembered was it ended with Malia telling Evelyn "I wish you were dead."
At that moment, Malia's birth mother, Corinne, tracked them down and shot at their car in the middle of the road, which caused Malia to trigger her Werecoyote gene and maul Evelyn & Kylie to death.
