Maudra Ethri is a supporting protagonist in the 2019 Netflix series, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and the novel, The Tides of the Dark Crystal. She is the leader of the Sifa Clan and the best friend of Elder Onica.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance[]
Per tradition, Ethri went to Ha'rar after recieving word that the All-Maudra, Mayrin, had been slain. She was forced to accept Seladon as the All-Maudra when Laesid and Fara refused to acknowledge her as their All-Maudra, dismissing her as a misguided child. ("(By Gelfling Hand)")
After being inspired by Rian's speech, Ethri and Onica rallied their clan and led them to Stone-in the Wood where she and the other Gelflings. SkekSo attempted to use the Darkening on Ethri, and her fellow Gellfing but Deethra of the Grottan Clan had absorbed it and channeled the Drakening on the Skeksis. They ran when they realized they were out-numbered. She celebrated with the other Gelfling and was present when Aughra gave her speech about warning the Gelfling to treasure this day and that hope was a fragile thing.
