Esme Cullen is one of the main characters of Twilight. She is the mate of Carlisle Cullen, adoptive mother to Edward, Emmett and Alice Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, adoptive mother-in-law of Bella Swan and adoptive grandmother of Renesmee Cullen. Esme is also the matriarch of the Cullen family (Olympic coven).
