Emperor Zarkon is the main antagonist of Dreamworks animated series Voltron: Legendary Defender .
He is the archenemy of the Voltron Paladins and the ruthless ruler of the Galra Empire.
He was voiced by Neil Kaplan, who also voiced Madara Uchiha in the Naruto franchise and Hawkmon in Digimon Adventure 02 .

Like his original incarnation, he fights Voltron in a giant robot in his own image only to be defeated, though he survives unlike his original counterpart.
His death is different in this version.
In the original series, he is killed by Voltron during a battle between the two.
