Emma Gilbert is one of the three main protagonists of the first two seasons of H2O: Just Add Water.
Along with her best friend, Cleo Sertori, and Rikki Chadwick, she is one of the three teenagers from 2006 who is transformed into a mermaid after bathing in a moon pool on a mysterious island. Afterwards, Emma gains the power to freezing water. In the second season, her powers advance, giving her power over ice and snow, as well as creating powerful storms and lighting.

Eclipse: If Emma is in a Moon pool the night of a lunar eclipse during a full moon, she will lose her powers for twelve hours. She did this as it was only way that Dr. Denman would leave her and her friends alone and make it a secret again.
