Elizabeth Masterson is one of the two main protagonists of DreamWorks Pictures' fantasy film Just Like Heaven. She is a residential doctor who is a workaholic and in a car crash on her way to a blind date. Finding herself awake in a coma, Elizabeth finds her apartment inhabited by David Abbott, a recently widowed young man. However, he is the only one who can see her because he was the one she meant to meet on a blind date set up by her sister, proving they are soulmates.
She is based on Lauren Kline from the French novel If Only It Were True by Marc Levy.
