Elina is the protagonist of the Barbie: Fairytopia film series and Barbie: Mariposa (the film series' sequel). Throughout the films, she battles against the wicked fairy, Laverna. With help from her friends, Elina defeats her once and for all.

Fairytopia[]
She is initially a wingless fairy who is immune to the illness spread by the evil fairy Laverna. She travels around the world with her pet Puffball, Bibble, and her friends, Hue and Dalia.
Fairytopia: Mermaidia[]
In the second film, Elina journeys the world of Mermaidia with the mermaid Nori to rescue their mutual friend, Prince Nalu.
Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow[]
In the third and final film, she becomes her good friend, Azura's apprentice to bring another year of spring to Fairytopia or suffer ten years of winter. With her other fellow apprentices, they are able to defeat Laverna for the last time.
Mariposa[]
Elina notices Bibble's fears of not being able to fit in with his girlfriend, Dizzle's friends. She decides to ease his worries about her best friend, Mariposa, a butterfly fairy who also felt like an outsider among her kind.
