Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz is one of the three deuteragonists (alongside Tory Nichols and Samantha LaRusso) of the YouTube Red/Netflix web series Cobra Kai.

He was the top student of the Cobra Kai Dojo, a sensei of the Eagle Fang karate dojo, the best friend of Demetri Alexopoulos and Miguel Diaz, a former enemy and friend of Chris, Sam LaRusso, Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence, the former enemy turned friend of Robby Keene, and Tory Nichols, and the arch-enemy of Kyler Park. Personality[]

Even though they had an on and off relationship, it is shown that Moon is still in love with Eli because she loved him for his fighting spirit. However she (under Yasmine's influence) used to tease Hawk/Eli for the scar on his lip and realized it was wrong to bully him and Aisha. Moon and Hawk break up due to Moon refusing to date a bully; however, they got back together at the end of Season 4, with her kiss inspiring him to win a match with Robby Keene. With a second chance in their relationship, Eli remains faithful to Moon when they are in Barcelona. Unlike Demetri, Hawk refuses to dance with any other girls, showing how serious he is about his and Moon's relationships. Maria Alvarez has a brief crush on Eli before he reveals that he has a girlfriend back home.

Unlike Demetri, who goes to dance with Maria. However, during Hawk and Moon's video chat, Yasmine sees Demetri dancing with Maria and proceeds to break up with him. Demetri accused him of sabotaging his relationship with Yasmine; even though he was at fault and Eli had no idea that Yasmine was even in the room with her until she showed her face in the camera. Eli (justly) tells Demetri off, pointing out it was his recklessness that caused Yas to break up with him, not Demetri. Witnessing Eli and Demetri falling out, Devon decides to come clean to Kenny about putting the laxatives in his drink; not Anthony while making amends with him.

After joining Miyagi-Do, Eli briefly uses mainly defense, but with encouragement from Daniel during the 2019 All-Valley, Hawk incorporates all of Kreese and Johnnys teachings.
