The Elemental Alliance are the overarching heroic faction of Ninjago's fourth season, Tournament of Elements, and the seventh season, The Hands of Time. It was a group of the Elemental Masters formed and led by Wu and Garmadon during the Serpentine War and Battle for All of Time.

The group disbanded soon after the Time Twins had been defeated and went on to have children so their own.
Legacy[]
The Elemental Masters were immortalized in a portrait at the History museum. They were always remembered for their bravery and heroism. Members of the Alliance would go on to start families of their own.
The Twins of Time[]
Sometime after the defeat of the Time Twins, the brothers plotted their revenge. Krux disguised himself as Mr. Saunders, the museum curator. By the time he visited Maya and Rayz they had settled down with two children; Kai and Nya. When Nya was three, Maya and Ray were forced to abandon their children and help the Time Matter, Acronix with his goals of creating weapons for him in their grand scheme to go back in time and end the war. As such, Nya and Kai grew up, taking over the Blacksmith family business in their parents absence.
By the time of the series, Wu had banished Garmadon to the Underworld and formed the Ninja, a group of teenagers who protected the realm of Ninjago. Most members of the team were descended from the Elemental members. Zane became the Master of Ice after the previous one, transferred his powers to the young Nindroid.

Garmadon's guilt[]
Some of Garmadon's actions in the Serpentine was left an impression on him, including his guilt of taking credit for Wu's love letter to Misako Montgomery. He and Wu would also reveal that they were manipulated by Chen into believing that the Anacondrai Warriors, leading to the warriors' banishment. During the second Serpentine War, the Ninja and the Elemental Masters formed an alliance with the Serpentine and the citizens of Ninjago to defeat Chen's army, who had been recently turned into an anacondrai general. Garmadon would sacrifice himself to the Cursed Realm, switching places with the Anacondrai generals
New timeline[]
In a rewritten timeline, Nya, Kai and Wu time traveled to the Battle of the Monastery after the moment the Time Masters were originally defeated. When the Time Masters from the present unleashed the Vermillion, Nya and Kai pretended to be their parents Maya and Ray and helped the younger versions of their mentors Master Wu and Garmadon fight the army.
