Edwin Jarvis is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who appears in the Iron Man franchise. Due to the estrangement between Tony and Howard, Jarvis acted as a second father figure for him.
After his parents were killed by the Winter Soldier, he became Tony Stark's guardian, who would later name his system J.A.R.V.I.S. after him.
