Edna Walker

Edna Walker is a supporting character in the Ninjago franchise. She was the wife of Ed Walker, and the Adoptive mother of Jay Walker.

History[]

Background[]

Edna and Ed Walker owned a Scrapyard and made a business of it. One day, the elemental master of Lightning left her child in the junkyard for the Walkers to find. Ed and Edna decided to adopt Jay, rausing him as one of their own. Of course, like all adoptive parents, Ed and Edna never told Jay he was adopted as a way to show that they didn't want him feeling sad or abandoned. Instead, they came up with a story that said Jay was born in the junkyard rather than found.

One day, Jay decided to test out his new inventions: a set of wings. Before he set out, Jay told his mother he was going into the city. Edna told her son to be careful and cautioned him to not do any more dangerous stunts. There, Jay met Master Wu, who recruited the young Ninja of Lightning. Ed and Edna both gave Jay their blessing on the condition that he keeps them updated at all times.

Season 1[]

Ed and Edna visit Jay at the Destiny's Bounty, where they get Wu acquainted with the Ninja and their master Wu. Later the couple are attacked and bitten by the Fangpyre released by Lloyd Garmadon later that night. The Ninja discover the attack and find a transformed Ed and Edna before the Fangpyres, Ninja and Lloyd start battling.

Nya make an antitoxib that helps restore Ed and Edna. After the Serpentine have been defeated, Jay invites his parents to stay with him and the Ninja for a while before they go their separate ways.

Season 7[]

The Masters of Time's Vermillion army attack the junk shop. Fearing for his patents' safety, Jay leaves the Ninja to rescue them, only to see them kidnap Jay's mother for being a builder. Fortunately for Edna, her son reaches her on time with the motorcycle that Ed and Edna were working on for Jay's birthday. He is able to rescue his mother.

Season 14[]

Ed and Edna attend Nya's memorial at the Temple of Spinjitzu to support their son and pay tribute to Nya.

Season 15[]

Edna and Ed come to their son's aid to help the Ninja defeat the Overlord.
