Durin's Folk are a group of dwarves featured in Middle-earth Lore. They are one of the seven dwarf clans descended from Durin the Deathless, one of the original Seven Dwarves created by the god, Aule

Most of Durin's Folk lived in the Lonely Mountain while another half of the faction lives in the Iron Hills

Dwarves of the Iron Hills are the members of Durin's Folk who went to live in the Iron Hills while the other half went to Erebor. They were led by Dáin Ironfoot.
