Drusilla is a major antagonist in the Buffyverse. She debuts in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as the central antagonist of Season 2, a mentioned character in season 3 and a minor antagonist in Season 5. She reappears in Angel as the secondary antagonist in Season 2 and a flashback antagonist in other instances on both shows. She has appeared in numerous tie-in comics and novels, including Angel & Faith, a canonical continuation of the television series.

She is the vampire who was sired by Angeles, Angel's soulless self, the one who turned Spike into one as well.

Personality

According to Angel, before she became a vampire, Dru was once "pure, sweet, and chaste."  However, after Angel (as Angelus) tortured her by killing her entire family and the convent she was a part of, Dru was on the brink of insanity. The moment she became a vampire, Dru was the perfect killing machine who didn't care who she hurt. Despite being almost childish, Drusilla was still evil. However, due to her psychic powers before she was turned, Dru was Intuit. She always felt that Spike, subconsciously, was in love with Buffy and would eventually leave her, which is why Drusilla ended up cheating on him with other demons and later breaking up with him for good.

Trivia

• Ironically, Angel and Spike fighting over Drusilla is a precursor to them doing the same thing with Buffy.
