Background[]
Many years ago, Drago became one of the most influential and loyal soldiers of King Cepheus and queen Cassiopeia, eventually rising to the ranks as Captain of the Guard. He was blessed with a beautiful daughter who he loved dearly. However, Draco's daughter died before she turned fifteen years old. He hoped to one day see his daughter again.
By the time of the film, Draco became melancholy due to his tragic loss and started to refrain from smiling. He lost some of his faith in the Olympians due to their reigning tyranny and became protective of the Royal family.
Clash of the Titans (2010)[]
Personality[]
Draco is one of the most bravest mortal men as well as clever, stoic, and intelligent. motivated to end the tyranny of the gods due to the loss of a daughter, likely explaining his loyalty to Queen Andromeda. He has sworn never to smile until he can metaphorically spit in the eyes of the gods. The man also forsakes arrogance and tyranny, mostly because reckless actions lead to unfortunate timelinea. Draco was initially cold to Perseus and Io, but over time, he learns to respect them both. He encourages his protege to fight and embrace his god half. Draco also shouts at and tosses Perseus around because the latter cost the men his life. He also doesn't hesitate to call Perseus out on his arrogant behavior when the son of Zeus refuses to call his father or the other Olympians for help. However, the Captain of the Guard is brave and loyal to those who gain his trust. This is enough for him to join Perseus and the party to the underworld to confront Medusa. His final act of bravery is when he wounds Medusa in order to give Perseus a chance to defeat her. He also shares empathy with the young man because they have both lost their respective family members (Draco's daughter, Perseus's adoptive parents, and sister).
During the final days of his life, Draco encouraged those who remained in the quest and selflessly had up his life to save Princess Andromeda and give Perseus a chance to kill the Medusa. Draco's sacrifice would not be in vain; he and the other men would be avenged by Perseus when he beheaded Medusa and used her head to turn the Kraken to Stone. After the monster's defeat, Perseus weakened Hades, and he was banished back into the Underworld, with his father's assistance.

- Interrogation: At first, Draco was a cruel interrogator, willing to torture Perseus when he didn't know the answer to his heritage. However, this mostly came to be due to Draco's hatred towards the gods, and by extension, Perseus's biological father, Zeus. It would have went no where because Perseus was unaware of his parentage until Hades, and Io revealed it. However, King Kepheus halted the interrogation after seeing Draco going too far.
- Bravery: Perseus considers all the men he had befriended very brave. Draco would travel to Stygia, despite its perilous journey, and willingly face a group of gigantic scorpions. It is also shown that Draco isn't afraid of dying due to the chance he'll be reunited with his daughter again. This is shown in the battle in Medusa's lair, where he simply smiles as Medusa turns him to stone.
- Wisdom: With bravery, Draco is wise throughout the film. He is the first to suggest smuggling the princess out of the city in case fanatics in Argus tried to sacrifice her. However, Perseus shoots it down because no one could be able to hide Andromeda from Hades. This proves to be true at the end of the film, where fanatics breaks into the castle and takes the princess to be sacrificed. He is also a very effective mentor.
