Dr. Blowhole is the main antagonist of the TV series version of The Penguins of Madagascar. He also has a sister named Doris, who was unaware her brother.
Before the series[]
In "Dr. Blowhole's Revenge, the maddened doctor set up a trap laid up as an outhouse. He confonted the Penguins in his lair, revealing his plans for a "Chrome claw" to rule both land and sea. However, the Penguins manage to defeat him the first time. He makes his escape but sets the hideout to go in self-destruct. However, the Penguins are able to escaped.
Dr. Blowhole was first mentioned in "Eclipsed" when Skipper thinks that he blew out the sun.
He later returns in the "sequel to the episode, wiping Skipper's memory and plans turning Private, Kowalski and Rico into monsters. He later attempts to take over New York again, but his memory is blown away the same way it was to Skipper.

- He is the main enemy of all the Penguins; however, he shares more animosity with Skipper, who he sees as his greatest threat and main rival.
- Kowalski is jealous of the doctor, because he is a villain and gets the good stuff.
- He has a tendency to call the penguins "peng-you-ins."
- Kowalski thinks he just pronounced it like that to get on their nerves.
- Dr. Blowhole is mistaken as a fish by Julien when they first met, even though he is clearly a mammal.
