Deadpool (real name Wade Wilson) is the titular main protagonist of the films of the same name and a supporting character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is a horribly scarred mutant given regenerative abilities from undergoing terrible experimentations that woke up his dormant mutant powers. He seems revenge against the man who had done this to him with the use of Weapon X. Deadpool is also one of the few mutants who is not a member of the X-Men.
Wade has a sardonic and sarcastic sense of humor, often breaking the fourth wall. He is a minor character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and the titular protagonist of Deadpool, and Deadpool 2. He is portrayed by Ryan Reynolds. Another version will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where it will mark Deadpool's return and where the third film in the trilogy would take place.
