Deadman is a fictional character in the DC COmics. He is a spirit who has become a supernatural superhero after he was killed by an assassin. He helps his teammates fight in the name of crime and eventually find the man who assassinated him. He has been a member of the Sentinels of Magic, the Seven Soldiers of Victory, the Black Lantern Corps and the White Lantern Corps.

Deadman was created by Arnold Drake and Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Strange Adventures #205. (1967)
