Darklighters are demonic entities featured in Charmed. They are the evil counterparts of the Whitelighers, who the Darklighters must kill to endanger future Whitelighters and make witches vulnerable. In addition, Darklighters often work as hired guns or mercenaries to upper-level demons and the leaders of the Underworld.
In the reboot, the Darklighters are still the evil counterparts ofthe Whitelighters. However, when a Whitelighter is created, their doppelgangers come into existence.
