Dark Willow is the evil alter-ego of Willow Rosenberg and the secondary antagonist of season 6 of the supernatural horror drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A shadow of Dark Willow appears to fight Glory in the fifth season but she does not come into full force until the sixth season. Dark Willow comes to be when Tara was killed by a stray bullet fired by Warren Mears
Dark Willow is preternaturally focused on revenge, relentless and unstoppable. However, dark Willow is defeated when Xander talks her down after professing his brotherly love for her. After reverting back to her normal self, Willow breaks down crying before being comforted by Xander.
