Daredevil (real name Matthew Michael "Matt" Murdock) is one of the four main protagonists of the Defenders Saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (alongside Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage). He is the titular main protagonist of the Netflix web series Daredevil.
He is the son of the late Jack Murdock and Maggie Grace, the ex-boyfriend of Elektra and Claire Temple, the best friend and business partner of Foggy Nelson, the ex-boyfriend and close friend/business partner of Karen Page and an associate of Jennifer Walters. Matt is a blind lawyer who was blinded as a young age from radioactive substances, but his four others senses were heightened to superhuman levels. He has various enemies such as the mob boss Kingpin and terrorist organization known as the hand. He was briefly the leader of a team of superheroes known as the Defenders, alongside Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. He, Karen and Foggy set up a law firm, Nelson, Murdock and Page.
In 2024, he defended Peter Parker when he was accused for the Elemental in Europe after being framed by Mysterio. However, this encounter was later erased due to Doctor Strange's spell of making everyone forget Peter ever existed or that he was Spider-Man
