Danny Mahealani is a supporting character in the first three seasons of Teen Wolf. He is the best friend of Jackson Whittemore and the ex-boyfriend of Ethan Steiner.

According to Jeff Davis, Danny graduated early between Season 3a and Season 4.

• Danny is one (and the first) of several LGBTQ+ characters introduced in the Teen Wolf series, including Ethan, Jackson, Caitlin, Emily, Mason Hewitt, Corey Bryant, Brett Talbot, and Lucas.
• Everybody likes Danny, according to Stiles Stilinski.
• It is possible that Danny may have also had crush on Stiles or Scott.
  • With Stiles, Danny hesitated to answer Stiles' question if he is attractive to gay guys.
  • With Scott, Scott seems to hesitate when Coach Finstock says Danny is gay and Scott hesitates for a second. In Season 2, Danny seems to smile a little when Scott pounces on him and smells his cologne and Scott says the Armani "is nice"
