Starfire[]
(Close Friend, Teammate and Sister Figure)
Cyborg and Starfire first met when Gordanians were attacking Jump City. Because of her unfamiliarity with Earth, Starfire was terrified and began shooting starbolts as Cyborg and the other Titans. However, after Robin calmed her down, Cyborg grew comfortable around the hostile alien Princess. They later became teammates afterwards. Following the prequel episode, Cyborg and Starfire grow closer to each other and the former begins to see her as the younger sister he never had. They rarely argue with each other and have an amicable relationship. In "Final Exam," she helped Cyborg when Gizmo attached a rocket to the latter hero's back and sent him flying to Gotham City had Starfire not intervened. However Cyborg later snaps at her after they have been booted out of Titan Towers by Gizmo, Jinx, and Mammoth.
In the third episode, "Divide and Conquer," Starfire was saddened by Cyborg's argument with Robin and temporary leave from the Titans. She augmented this by making the Pudding of Sadness, which is made and consumed by her people on their planet whenever something tragic happens. A major point in Starfire's relationship with Victor was when she was called "Troq" by the the Vernathian hero Val-Yor. Starfire kept it secret from her friends. that "Troq" was a word for "nothing," literally telling Starfire and her people as nobodies after he accidentally called her that. Cyborg was immediately disgusted by it when Starfire explained the term's meaning and urged her to tell Robin that Val-Yor is insulting her. Being half human and half tech made Cyborg empathize with her on racism, as he was also judged for his own appearance. He later told Robin that Val-Yor was insulting Starfire, who was equally infuriated and cut the alliance between the alien Warrior and the Titans short.
Apart from fighting alongside each other, both Starfire and Cyborg spend their spare time together lifting weights. Their cheerful demeanors often accommodate to each other and they both share this trait to make their friends feel comfortable. Also in several episodes, Cyborg is aware of Robin's attraction to Starfire and supports the idea of them being together. In the episodes "Stranded", Cyborg refers to Starfire as Robin's girlfriend. However, Robin snaps and tells Cyborg that Starfire is not his girlfriend. later when Robin and Starfire had their first, real kiss together in the series finale movie, Cyborg commented "Well it's about time,"showing his support for the new couple.
Raven
Similar to Starfire, Cyborg acts as an older brother figure to Raven, the demonic daughter of Trigon. when they first met in the episode "Go!" Raven expressed her fears that she could never fit in the city or their new team. However, Cyborg makes Raven feel better by telling her that their team is already a group of misfits. He points out that Starfire is an alien princess, he is a cyborg and one of their teammates has green skin, showing that he is empathizing with her as well. In the episode "Nevermore," Cyborg is frightened by The full extent of Ravens powers when she assaults doctor light. In the morning after, Beast Boy accidentally insults Raven's feelings and is forced by Robin to apologize to her. When Raven doesn't answer, Beast Boy is about to give up until Cyborg makes Beast Boy apologize to her. Despite Cyborg wanting Beast White apologize to Raven, It doesn't stop Cyborg or Beast Boy from snooping around Raven's room. After literally going inside Raven's mind, Cyborg sees her deepest fears and starts to understand her better. He and Gar also helped her stand up to her recreation of her father and help her defeat him.
