King Coryn (born Nyroc) is one of the two main protagonists of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series. He is the son of Nyra and Kludd and nephew of Soren, Eglantine and Pellimore

The Burning[]
After his older sibling was accidentally destroyed by his aunt, Eglantine, Coryn as an egg was laid by Nyra, who told Kludd that this baby will be fit to rule the Pure Ones
At the end of the book, Coryn is hatched, where Nyra swears vengeance upon the Guardians after Kludd was killed by Twilight.
The Hatchling[]
Eventually, Coryn leaves his mother after her terrible parenting and one of his friends was killed on her orders.
