Clarisse La Rue is a major antagonist in the Disney+ adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians TV series. She is Percy Jackson's rival and the daughter of Ares
History[]
When Percy first gets to camp, Clarisse immediately starts bullying Percy into admitting that he didn't kill the Minotaur. When Percy refused, Clarisse had her siblings try to give him a swirly. However, Percy unintentionally uses his hydrokinesis and douses Clarisse and her siblings in toilet water. They quickly run out of the bathroom, with Clarisse glaring at Percy. Annabeth watched the entire thing happen and Annabeth got her suspicions that Percy's father was Poseidon.
Later, during a game of Capture the Flag,Clarisse fights Percy to get back at him for the bathroom incident. Unknown to them, Annabeth is watching them. The hatred and jealousy between Percy and Clarisse intensifies when Poseidon claims Percy as his son after Annabeth pushed him into the lake, confirming her suspicions.

- In the novels, she gave Percy a swirly because of the "tradition" of giving them to newbies. However, in the series, she wants her siblings to dunk his head in the toilet because he won't admit to being a liar when it came to the Minotaur.
- Clarisse and her siblings were the ones who pushed Percy into the water. However, in the TV series, it was Annabeth.

This is due to her struggling to live up to her father, Ares' expectations. She would bully all the campers at school, especially Percy and Annabeth Chase. However, she would eventually become vitriolic friends with Percy and Annabeth and would begin a romantic relationship with Chris Rodriguez.
