Christopher Perry "Chris" Halliwell is a half-witch, half-Whitelighter who is a recurring character in the television series Charmed. He was a main character in Season 6 and a minor character in season 8 and the son of Leo Wyatt and Piper Halliwell, the brother of Wyatt and Melinda Halliwell, the nephew of Prue and Phoebe Halliwell, Paige Matthews, Henry Mitchell and Coop Halliwell, and the cousin of P.J., Parker, Petyon, Kat, Tamora and Henry.
During a brief strainment in Chris's parents, Leo and Piper's relationship, the couple were separated after he became a Whitelighter Elder. However, when they were trapped on a parallel plane, Limbo, the spouses were on the run from a Darklighter. For their brief time trapped in limbo, Piper and Leo reignited they're feelings for one another and had a one night stand. This resulted in Piper becoming pregnant with their second son, Chris.

Scrying: The ability to locate a person or object by the use of a scrying crystal, a map, and sometimes other tools.
Mediumship: The ability to see and commune with spirits of the dead.
Telekinesis: The ability to move objects and beings with the mind. It can be channeled through the eyes and the hands. Chris mostly inherited this from his aunt Prue.

In Season 9, Chris and Melinda are made Twice-Blessed Children similar to Wyatt by the elders as well as bringing out Melinda's dormant Whitelighter DNA. The reason they did this was to ensure that the oldest of the Charmed Ones' children would inherit the Power of Three and become a great force of good akin to the Charmed Ones.. However, because the Elders took it too far, the Angels of Destiny removed the prophecy.
Etymology[]
Christopher: derived from Χριστος (Christos) combined with φερω (phero) "to bear, to carry". This is fittingly enough because Chris has to carry and bear the burden of saving his brother from turning evil and preventing his mother and father from learning his identity.
Trivia[]
Chris and Wyatt are the only Halliwell cousins to appear as adults. The times they were seen together at this age are "Chris-Crossed" and "Forever Charmed."
It is unknown whether or not he fathered Prudence or Matthew, Piper and Leo's grandchildren seen in the epilogue of Charmed.
Chris is the only one of his siblings or cousins to inherit green eyes, a trait he shares with his aunt, Prue.
In the season 6 finale, Chris's namesake is revealed to be his paternal grandfather, Christopher Wyatt.
Chris has several traits from each of his maternal aunt, Prue: He had dark hair like her, green eyes, power of telekinesis, similar personalities (like caring greatly for their family), and they encountered an Angel of Death.
He is stubborn like his father and hot-tempered like his mother.
There is several points in the show foreshadowing Chris's true identity.
He often stays away from Paige, Piper and Phoebe, further revealing he did not want to reconnect with his mother and aunts knowing they are vanquished when he is fourteen.
Chris always wants Leo out of the way, getting irritated when the sisters want to involve him, and him always falling into conflict with his father proves their strained relationship in the Future.
It is hinted in the season six premiere Chris is not a full time Whitelighter because of his inability to heal Paige, another Whitelighter Witch. In the same episode, he is afraid of Leo when he brings out a sword.
At the start of "Chris-Crossed," he tells them that he's going to find the next demon but quickly says demonstration. Piper did exactly the same thing in "Lucky Charmed".
He is seen smiling when Leo says he is a father first before everything else.
He was seen flipping the pages with telekinesis similar to his great-grandmother.
After getting chased by the dinosaur, Chris says "I think he's gone. He looks gone. Do you think he's gone?". This is almost the same thing Piper said in "All Hell Breaks Loose", "I think we made it. I'm sure we made it. Do you think we made it?".
Piper says she doesn't see her self having anymore kids anytime soon but she gets pregnant with Chris just a few months later.
He once called Leo "Dad" and acted very rude during Piper's date with Seth (similar to how other children act when they don't want their mothers dating someone else). Also, at the end of the episode, Chris says "It looks like we are one big happy family again" and Leo responds "You are not family".
In "The Power of The Blondes," Chris was grossed out when his "aunts" Phoebe and Paige hit on him, while noting he has known them his whole life. He later provoked the Stillman sisters into a catfight, likely knowing his mother and aunts' powers were tied to their bond as sisters. If they feel imbalanced or use their powers on each other, it severs the Halliwell sisters from the Power of Three.
