Chris Argent and Lydia Martin is a major relationship between the main characters Chris Argent and Lydia Martin from Teen Wolf.
History[]
Chris and Lydia meet in "Pack Mentality," where Lydia noticed how attractive Argent was. She tries flirting at him but Chris didn't notice her. After receiving word that Lydia was bitten by Peter Hale, an alpha, Chris grew suspicious of Lydia becoming a werewolf. He found Scott in the woods in a trap, where Chris warned him that even though he was sparing Scott's the same would not for Lydia. However, Chris was now stumped as to why the bite didn't effect her. He had Allison watch her, believing Lydia to be different. When he told Allison this in her bedroom, Chris was having his doubts when he saw Lydia air kissing herself on her phone, acting like a typical teenager.
Despite six months of wondering why Lydia did not transform into a werewolf, Chris finally learned the truth about Lydia in "Alpha Pact" when Stiles entrusted Argent with the information
After Allison's death, Chris continued to look out for her friends to honor his daughter, especially Allison's boyfriend Scott and her best friend Lydia.
In Season 5, Gerard told Lydia the story of how Marie-Jeanne discovered that the Beast was her brother Sebastian and how she killed him. After Lydia sensed the Beast attacking the school, Argent immediately went to her side, asking if she was alright. Lydia, while uninterested wasn't sure why Chris brought Gerard back because of the man's past actions against their friends,. Even after Chris gave her a warning glance, Lydia argued that she and Deputy Parrish were very similar because they were just understanding their powers.
Meanwhile, Chris told her that she and Jordan were very different because unlike most creatures Supernatural works through Lydia. However, Lydia sympathetically tells Chris that she cannot kill the Beast because she is no Allison, unintentionally causing Argent's sorrow but Gerard's amusement.
