History[]

Season 2[]

In "Mr. Monk Goes to the Theatre", Cheryl flies out to California to visit her daughters and see Gail perform in a play Blood on the Moon. However, Adrian and Sharona inform her that Gail was accused of killing her co-star in front of the audience. She asks Sharona and Adrian to investigate, as Cheryl refuses to believe her daughter could do something like this. The trio head to the local theater in San Francisco, where Cheryl and Sharona go to pick up Gail's possessions. However, both Cheryl and Sharona are immediately disgusted by Jenna Ryan, Gail's understudy, and her attitude about the whole ordeal. It makes Sharona suspect that Jenna is the true culprit, not Gail and Cheryl telling her to "break a leg" before glaring at Jenna. At Gail's hearing, Cheryl is given a minute with her by the baliff. However, the baliff comes back to take Gail back to jail, with Cheryl looking at Monk and Sharona, asking them to save Gail as she tells them she is depending on them both.

Later at dinner, Cheryl, Sharona and Benjy are on edge with everything going on with Gail. Cheryl tries to take their minds off of what is going on by talking about Sharona's "boyfriend." Meanwhile, Gail is only allowed one visitor a day , so they send Adrian to visit Gail in jail and see how she is doing.

Later at the play, Cheryl cheers on Sharona and Adrian for their efforts in proving Gail's innocence.

Season 3[]

In "Mr. Monk and the Game Show," Cheryl seemed to be having some health problems. When Adrian was on the phone with Sharona, he asks her to give Cheryl his best before hanging up.
