Cassandra is a major character in the film Tangled: Before Ever After and it's follow-up series, Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. She is the biological daughter of Gothel, who abandoned her the night she abducted Rapunzel. Cassandra was adopted by the Captain of the Guard, ironically, becoming Rapunzel's lady-in-waiting and best friends.

After temporarily betraying Rapunzel and unwittingly falling as Zhan Tiri's pawn, Cassandra learned the error of her ways and helped Rapunzel defeat the evil warlock. She decided to follow her own path and left Corona to travel the world.
