Caspian X is one of the main protagonists of The Chronicles of Narnia franchise. He is the titular deuteragonist of the 1951 novel The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and the 2008 film adaptation and one of the deuteragonists ofVoyage of the Dawn Treader.
He is the king of Narnia initially introduced as the Prince of Telmarines whose uncle, Miraz, tries to hunt him down after the birth of his male heir, and Caspian's cousin. He is responsible for playing Susan Pevensie's Horn and summoning the Pevensie children back to Narnia after they have been absent for 1,000 years. In the Walden Media and Disney adaptation, he acts as Susan Pevensie's love interest.
Meeting the Old Narnians, Caspian promises to unite the lands and restore the Narnians' freedom by freeing Narnia from the tyranny of Caspian's ancestors.
