Casey Jones is the tritagonist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comics that were published by Mirage studios, IDW Publishing, and image comics. He was created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird and first appeared in Rafael Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (April 1985). He is a Hockey masked vigilante skilled in armed and unarmed combat, the love interest of April O'Neill and one of the closest allies of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Out of the turtles, Casey is the closest with Raphael. He usually uses sports equipment like baseball bats and hockey sticks.

The character has been featured in various adaptations, and has been portrayed by several actors. He was first voiced by Pat Fraley in the 1987 series, Marc Thompson in the 2003 series, Chris Evans in the 2007 film, Josh Peck in the 2012 series, Haley Joel Osment in a film adaptation of the 2018 series, and has been portrayed in live action by Elias Koteas in the 1990 and 1993 films and by Stephen Amell in the 2016 film.
History[]
As a child, Casey was inspired to become a vigilante had a young age after watching superhero TV shows. Seeing examples of criminals on TV and the fact that New York was overrun with them, Casey trained himself in armed combat and sought to fight to protect the streets of his hometown.
In his debut, Casey met Raphael, catching him beating up muggers. They clashed on how to handle it because Raphael wanted to let them go, but Casey wanted to kill them. As they clashed, more criminals attacked them and the two worked together to fight their attackers.
