Carnage is a villainous symbiote from the second season2012 animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man.
The original version of the Carnage symbiote is the Green Goblin's ideal image of a son. It was hosted by Peter Parker and Harry Osborn before being defeated by Spider-Man and his team.
The first version of Carnage was based on the Ultimate Spider-Man comics version, being a symbiote created with Peter Parker's DNA.

Carnage is a villainous symbiote turned anti-hero from the fourth and final season of the 2012 animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man, serving as the main antagonist of the Carnage Saga.
The second one was created by Otto Octavius and Michael Morbius. It formed a symbiotic relationship with Mary Jane, choosing her as its permanent host and helping her operate as Spider-Woman.
The second version of Carnage, while it is an independent entity, is based on the original Earth-616 version with the psychotic, bloodthirsty personality of Cletus Kasady, Carnage's first host.

- This is Carnage's third animated appearance in television. The others were Spider-Man: The Animated Series and Spider-Man: Unlimited.
- This is the third time Carnage was an alternate version of Peter Parker, the first two times were in the 2005 Ultimate Spider-Man video game and the Ultimate Spider-Man comics before that.
- Carnage's first host, Cletus Kasady is not present in the series due to his nature as a serial killer being dark for children's television programming.
- On Earth-65, Mary Jane becomes the host of Carnage's symbiote, becoming MJarnage.
