Carly Witwicky is a supporting character in the G1 series of the Transformers franchise. She is the wife of Spike Witwicky , the mother of their son Daniel and the daughter-in-law of Sparkplug Witwicky .
History [ ] Carly Spencer was a teenage girl studying at MIT. Carly met Bumblebee and her future husband at an arcade, inquiring about his Autobot friend. Spike, who likes Carly gets somewhat jealous about it. Discovering the rest of the Autobot base on purpose, she followed Spike and Bumblebee to the secret hideout. After which, Carly immediately bonded with Ironhide , who had discovered her watching him and his friends.
In "Desertion of the Dinobots," Carly journeyed to Cybertron with her boyfriend in search of Energon the Autobots needed to survive. The teens had a terrible run in with Shockwave. After succeeding in the mission and saving their friends, Optimus grants Carly and Spike with medals and christening them as "Honorary Autobots."
