Doctor Carl Stahlbaum (or simply Carl or Dr. Stahlbaum) is a minor character from the LaceWood Productions' 1990 animated film The Nutcracker Prince. He is the father of Louise, Clara and Fritz Stahlbaum and the husband of Mrs. Ingrid Stahlbaum.
He is based on Dr. Stahlbaum from E. T. A. Hoffmann's story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King and from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballet adaptation.
He was voiced by George Merner from 1990 animated film The Nutcracker Prince and portrayed by Robert LaFosse from the 1993 live-action film George Balanchine's The Nutcracker.
