Captain Candy is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Major Mint) of the 2001 animated film, Barbie in the Nutcracker. Captain Candy is more genial and good-natured than his compatriot. Unlike Mint, he was friends with Prince Eric and is dispirited when the Nutcracker tells him the Mouse King "destroyed" Eric.
