Camp Half-Blood is the main location for the series of the same name, mainly in Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It is where all the demigod children of Greek gods live in order to train and survive in the real world. Campers are allowed to leave the camp is for quests, come during the summer or year round for those who do not have homes. For fifty years (originally one hundred), Dionysus was sentenced by his father to be the camp director because they both had eyes on several off limit nymphs. Chiron lives at the camp year round as the camp's trainer. To the mortals' eye, the camp looks like a farm and a place that grows strawberries.

Its borders are protected by Thalia's tree, which has the Golden Fleece hanging from it's branches. A dragon Peleus guards the tree ever since it was poisoned by Luke Castellan
