Cadmus Peverell was a wizard who was the middle of the Peverell brothers. He was the younger brother of Antioch Peverell and Ignotus Peverell and the ancestor of Voldemort, Isolt Sayre and Delphini. He is also related to the Potter family

Cadmus and his brothers were walking along a winding road one night, where they came across a river impossible to cross. The three brothers used their magic to create a bridge for them to cross with their magic. However, as they crossed the bridge, they came across a cloaked figure, Death, who had been cheated from the Peverell brothers. It feigned gratitude to the brothers and "gifted" them with anything of their desire. For Cadmus, he asked for a resurrection stone that would awaken lovers from beyond the grave. He wished to resurrect his fiancée. However, she was unable to survive the world for long, Cadmus committed suicide to be with her again.
