Bren (ブレン Buren) is one of the main protagonists in Monsuno: World Master and its sequel series, Monsuno: Combat Chaos.
He considers himself the smartest person in Team Core-Tech, and is good at technical things.
Bren is voiced by Chihiro Suzuki in the original Japanese dubbing while Bren is dubbed by Christopher Corey Smith, who also voices Jijimon from Digimon Fusion and Hawkeye from Marvel Future Avengers.
Biography[]
Bren made his debut in "Clash," where Bren, along with Chase and Jinja, set out to discover Jeredy Suno's old laboratory. During their adventure, Bren witnessed the battle between Chase and the S.T.O.R.M. Elites after encountering S.T.O.R.M. In "Courage," Bren and Jinja infiltrated the S.T.O.R.M. headquarters to rescue Quickforce. A debate arose between them regarding who would keep the Monsuno. After winning a game of rock-paper-scissors against Jinja, Bren successfully captured Quickforce and assisted Chase in defeating Commander Trey.
In Underground, Chase, Jinja, and Bren was guided by Grandma Future to The Underground, where Bren faced Mr. Black and was ultimately defeated due to Black's manipulation of the arena. Following this, Bren and his companions fled into the subway, where Bren confronted Righty and emerged victorious.
In Wicked, Bren and Jinja concealed Chase from Darkspin after the latter had narrowly escaped a confrontation with their group. Subsequently, Bren and Jinja broke through the wall of a warehouse and engaged in combat with the lower-ranking members of Darkspin, while Chase battled Medea.
In Knowledge, Bren sustained a leg injury during an avalanche triggered by one of The Bookman's henchmen. As a result, Charger transported Bren to the Library of Tebab for treatment. Later, Bren and his companions were captured by the Bookman, but they were liberated by Beyal. Bren then played a crucial role in the showdown against the Bookman, where Bren toppled several henchmen and bookshelves.
In Breakthrough, Bren and Team Core-Tech were relentlessly pursued by S.T.O.R.M. across Mandala. Eventually, Bren and his team launched an assault on the S.T.O.R.M. blockade and took part in the battle against Commandant Marshall Charlemagne before making a strategic retreat.
In R.S.V.P., Bren accidentally picked a fight with Dax, but Chase instead fought the ruffian in a Monsuno battle. Later, Bren fought alongside Team Core-Tech against Dr. Emmanuel Klipse and fought off the doctor's immensely powerful backlash.
In Appleseeds, Bren and Team Core-Tech followed Dax throughout the Lowlands, until the team reached a temple where they finally found Jeredy Suno. Bren then participated in the battle against Darkspin and won but with the cost of losing Jeredy's trail again.
In Eye, Bren and Team Core-Tech headed to Coastal City, where they saw the effects of the spinning of a Wild Core. Bren and Chase then flew to where the Wild Core was and attempted to destroy it various times while dodging its defensive blasts, with one final combined attack destroying the Wild Core.
In Deceit, Bren was knocked out and tied up by Dax, with the latter leaving a vial of Monsuno Essence in Bren's pocket. Bren later used his glasses to burn through the rope and ran to warn Chase and the others about Dax's betrayal. When Bren saw that Chase needed help against Charlemagne, Bren pulled the vial of Essence out from his pocket and proceeded to create Longfang, spinning the Monsuno out against Captain's Hydro.
In Trust, Chase told him about the spy in Team Core-Tech before the latter left with Jon Ace. Later, Bren started a fight among the team's members and mainly fought against Dax, the one whom Bren trusts the least. The battle was then interrupted by Darkspin, with Bren fighting alongside his teammates to fend off the villainous group.
In Hunted, Bren is the first to be captured by Dom Pyro and is later freed by Chase at the end of the episode. Bren later downloaded data about the Monsunos and the Shadow Effect from the computers inside Dr. Klipse's mining facility. In Lost, Bren entered The Dreaming with Chase, Jinja, and Beyal, where they experienced a vision of Lock going rogue. Later, Bren and Team Core-Tech fought against the Desert Wolves and the rogue Lock, but Bren was defeated.
In Light, Bren infiltrated the Library of Tebab along with Chase and Beyal in search of an ancient book with the means of controlling Monsunos. After the Dawnmaster stole the book, Bren chased the thief throughout the library before running into Beyal. Later, Bren and Beyal encounter Dawnmaster again and go with him to rescue Chase from the Bookman. Bren, Beyal, and Dawnmaster then escaped from the library as it was about to self-destruct.
In Bright, Bren and Team Core-Tech took a vacation in Westward City, where they encountered the Desert Wolves again and a mysterious man named Digby Droog. Later, at Droog's home, Bren fought against the Desert Wolves once again alongside Chase and Dax and managed to defeat the group. Bren and Team Core-Tech encountered Dom Pyro once again, only to be captured after being knocked out by taser pucks. At Dom's hideout, Bren and Chase escaped from the net that they were held in and fought against Dom, burying the insane man by collapsing his hideout on himself.
In Ice, Bren, along with Team Core-Tech, escorted Beyal to Master Ey, where they were tasked with retrieving Beyal's soul from the Cave of Convergence. During their journey to the cave, the team encountered Darkspin multiple times, ultimately overcoming him by forcefully expelling the group from the cave. In Wellspring, Bren and Team Core-Tech ventured into the Valley of the Five Tribes, where they witnessed a confrontation involving Chase, Charlemagne, and Dr. Klipse, before making their escape following the destruction of the Well of Pure Life. In Life, Bren and his team pursued S.T.O.R.M. after they had abducted Jeredy Suno from his refuge in the Lowlands. Subsequently, Bren joined forces with Team Core-Tech to confront Charlemagne and Trey, successfully defeating both adversaries. In Failsafe, Bren uncovered the complete truth regarding the failsafe devices from Dax and engaged in battle against the Desert Wolves alongside Team Core-Tech. In Remembrance, Bren and his team willingly surrendered to S.T.O.R.M. to secure a swift transport to Jeredy's location, who was being pursued by Darkspin. After commandeering and crashing the Hopper onto a bridge, Bren fought alongside his team against Darkspin, later retreating to allow Chase the opportunity to defeat Darkspin independently.
In Remembrance, Bren and his team willingly submitted to S.T.O.R.M. for a swift transport to Jeredy's location, who was being pursued by Darkspin. After commandeering the Hopper and crashing it onto a bridge, Bren engaged in combat with his team against Darkspin, ultimately deciding to withdraw to allow Chase the opportunity to confront Darkspin alone. In Assault, Bren and his team formulated a strategy to attack the Cloud Carrier in order to rescue Jeredy Suno. Upon infiltrating the Cloud Carrier, Bren and Chase successfully liberated Jeredy and proceeded to recover Babbeon's Core from Charlemagne's office. Following this, Bren and Chase battled Charlemagne and two Elites, emerging victorious. In Monster, Bren and Team Core-Tech journeyed to Icemon, where the final Failsafe device was to be installed. While navigating the sewers, Chase, Jinja, and Beyal inexplicably vanished, prompting Bren, Dax, and Jeredy to embark on a mission to locate the three before encountering a mysterious cloaked figure. Bren then fought alongside his team against Dr. Klipse, Hargrave, and Toxic Ace, but ultimately, Jeredy was captured by the doctor.
Personality[]
As Chase's best friend, Bren is the one who understands him the most. Bren always tries to prove himself when in truth Bren already has a talent of being tech-savvy and a good friend for Chase. Bren is also fairly loyal to all of his friends, helpful in odd situations.
His crush on Tango from S.T.O.R.M. Squad.

Bren is a teenage boy wtih shaggy short brown hair, brown eyes and fair skin. Bren also wears a black long-sleeved shirt underneath a light green t-shirt. Bren also wears converse boots that are mostly rend and have white tips and shoe-bottoms. Bren also wears gray shorts with pockets, a knapsack, and a pair of black glasses.
