Tabitha Smith is a supporting character in the X-Men franchise. She is a Mutant with the ability to mentally create yellow and explosive balls of energy known as "time bombs". She later becam known as the heroine Boom-Boom.
Created by Jim Shooter and Al Milgrom, the character first appeared in Secret Wars II #5 (Nov. 1985). She then appeared as a member of X-Force and later as a member of Nextwave.
History [ ] Coming into her powers [ ] Tabitha Smith was born in Roanoke, Virginia to Martin and Mandy Smith, living with neglectful parents, who strongly dislikes Mutants. Her powers first emerged when she was 13 after being provoked by bully Bret McAllister, where she accidentally blew off her school's roof.
Her parents were appalled.
