Bolin is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Asami Sato) of the animated series The Legend of Korra.

He is an earthbender in Rebublic City with his brother, Mako, and one of the first people Korra meets He is also the ex-fiancée of Eska, the boyfriend of Opal and former love interest to Korra.
