Theodore "Ted" Kord is a character in the DC Comics. He is notable for being the second Blue Beetle (a title he shares with Jaime Reyes ). Ted would go to become a close friend of Booster Gold, and be a member of the Justice League International, the Super Buddies, and the Suicide Squad.
Ted Kord was created by Steve Ditko and Gary Friedrich, first appearing in Captain Atom #83.
Kord first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Forever Evil #7 by Geoff Johns and David Finch.
