The Black Order are a group of characters featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, debuting in Avengers: Infinity War as the secondary antagonists. They are the highest ranking members of Thanos' Army and his adoptive children. Gamora and Nebula are former members due to being the only members to be reformed.

Background[]
The Black Order came to be when Thanos began his conquest to find the Infinity Stones and use them to wipe out half of the universe's population. After every world he conquered, half of the planet's population was decimated and with it, Thanos took in at least one orphan as a consolation prize. This started with Ebony Maw, and finished with Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Cull Obsidian.
