The Black Order is a supervillain team in Marvel Comics. It is a group of Thanos' most ruthless Warriors and assassins who are sent to Earth and bring it's heroes on its knees. They are usually enemies of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avengers, Spider-Man and the X-Men.
History[]
Thanos' versions[]
The servant of the Black Order was Thanos' favorite child, Corvus Glaive; Ebony Maw, Black Dwarf and Supergiant joined the team. Black Dwarf and Corvus Glaive were brothers and eventually, Proxima and Corvus married each other.
At some point, they attempted to defeat Ego the Living Planet, for he had taken offense to Lady Death, who Thanos wanted to impress. However, their thing ended in a stalemate.

Later, Thanos planned to finding all the Infinity Stones. Thanos learned from an Outrider's memory that most of the Infinity Gems were lost by the Illuminati.

Proxima Midnight is a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics. She is a member of the Black Order under Thanos' command. She is usually an enemy to the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers. She used to serve under Thanos' Butcher Squadron

Corvus Glaive[]
Corvus Glaive is a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics. He is the husband of Proxima Midnight, the brother of Black Dwarf and a member of the Black Order under the command of the galactic military warlord Thanos. He is usually depicted as the leader of the Black Order and Thanos' right-hand. As long as Corvus had his blade pike, he was Immortal. He took control of the Black Order when the Multiverse was restored. Later committed suicide by stabbing himself with his own Glaive rather the let Thanos kill him.

Black Dwarf[]
Black Dwarf is a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics. He is the brother of corvus glaive, the brother-in-law of Proxima midnight as well as a member of the Black Order under the command of the galactic military warlord Thanos.

Ebony Maw[]
Ebony Maw is a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics. He is one of the most dangerous members of The Black Order due to his strategy over violence, unlike the rest of his teammates.

Black Swan (real name Yabbat Ummon Turru) is a fictional supervillain from Marvel Comics. She is a member of The Black Order and an alien of unknown origin with dangerous powers.
