The Berserkers are Germanic warriors and the secondary antagonists of Season 4 of Teen Wolf.

They are humans who channeled the spirit of a bear after a ritual that granted them strength, speed and durability, but with a terrible price.

Biology[]

Berserkers were humans once who assembled bear pelts and bones to, after a series of rituals, gain the supernatural powers of strength, speed and durability of the bear. However, they would also channel the bear's ferocity, causing htem to become mindless and violent beings. The animal spirit burns away the humanity within the person until they become pure animals. Chris Argent had a few encounters with one in the past, where he had to kill a boy who messed with the Berserker Creation ritual.

It is revealed in Season 4 that the Berserkers are connected to Werejaguars, who can sense and control Berserkers. This is shown between Kate Argent and her Berserkers. This is also due to their connection to the Goddess Tezcatlipoca. She also temporarily turned Scott McCall into a Berserker; however, he was able to break free due to Liam Dunbar and his fraternal bond with the Alpha.

The Berserkers were waiting for Kate Argent when she came to the La Iglesia church. They became incredibly loyal to them, acting as their subordinates and following any command they are given. However, the army was defeated by the McCall Pack and their allies, Chris Argent, the Calavera Family and Jordan Parrish
Scott McCall Victim of the Berserker ritual performed by Kate Argent; later undone Alive (currently True Alpha Werewolf)

Noah patrick
Noah Patrick was a  Genetic Chimera who was partially Berserker and an unnamed supernatural creature genetically created by the Dread Doctors.

He first attacked Sheriff Stilinski, Poisoned him with his venom and left him for dead after being manipulated by Theo Raeken. The prison was slowly destroying Sheriff Stilinski from his bone marrow. Luckily, Melissa McCauley and Dr Goyer were able to remove the bone marrow and save the Sheriff's life. Noah later attacked the werecoyote Malia Tate; however she was saved by Braeden's arrival. The Woman used a military grade enhanced stun gun to subdue him.  Due to Hayden Romero being a jaguar, she could sense when Noah was near and when he was dying. He was found by Scott, Malia and Stiles but When Noah was separated from the trio, he was killed by the Dread Doctors after Showing signs of being a "failure."

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Super Strength: Berserkers are incredibly strong, and their strength is far greater than that of any human and most Werewolves. as not even the True Alpha Scott McCall could match their strength. Their power so strong that even Peter Hale was initially unwilling to fight one, even with superior numbers on his side.
  • Super Speed: Berserkers are very fast, which has been stated and demonstrated on multiple occasions; neither Kira Yukimura, an incredibly fast Kitsune, or Malia Tate, a powerful Werecoyote, were able to keep up with them.
  • Super Durability: Berserkers are one of the most durable supernatural creatures seen to date. They are capable of withstanding an exceptional amounts of damage with little to no injury whatsoever. Chris Argent stated that it took almost every bullet he and two other hunters had to take down just one of them. This durability extends to the bones they wear, as neither Kira Yukimura's katana nor the claws of a Werewolf or Werecoyote could breach their armor even despite the fact that the bones appear to be old and brittle. The Berserkers, however, were actually defeated by Derek Hale single-handedly because he was an Evolved Alpha Werewolf.
  • Enhanced Stealth: According to Chris Argent, Berserkers leave very little in the name of tracks, making them near impossible to track by footprint, even for a highly trained tracker such as Chris.
  • Connection to Werejaguars: Werejaguars have a special connection to Berserkers for an unspecified reason. Wear jaguars can sense when Berserkers are near or closer to dying. This was demonstrated with Hayden Romero when she was a werewolf/Werejaguar Chimera who could sense Noah Patrick, a part-Berserker Chimera. It is also why Kate Argent was called "La Loba” or "The Bone Woman,” because she could turn people into Berserkers with the bones of a bear. Kate's Berserkers then began acting as her bodyguards and helped her survive while she was on the run from the Calavera family of hunters.
