Benjamin "Ben" Ravencroft is the main antagonist of the second animated Scooby-Doo feature film, Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost. He is a famed horror novelist and one of Velma Dinkley's idol and crushed-turned-arch-enemy. Ben plots to revive his ancestor, Sarah Ravencroft and take over the world. Unfortunately, he is unable to do so because of Sarah's desire to destroy the world rather than rule it.
In the end, Ben is dragged into the spellbook by Sarah, who decides her direct descendant will suffer the same fate as her.
