Bayard Hamar is a major protagonist in the 2010 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland and a minor character in the 2016 sequel Alice Through the Looking Glass. He is a bloodhound forced to work with the Red Queen in hunting down Alice Kingsleigh with the lives of his wife and pups at risk. Secretly loyal to the Underland resistance, he becomes Alice's ally and loyal friend. He is reunited with his family in Marmoreal. He is later seen helping Alice and the White Queen's forces defeat the Red Queen's army once and for all.
It is also implied that Bayard is an older version of the puppy from 'the original fairy tale by Lewis Carroll.
