Bartholomew Henry Allen, better known as Barry Allen, is a supporting character in the HBO Max television series Young Justice. He is a forensic scientist of Central City Police Department who was struck by lightning in a lab accident. It made him gain the ability to run at incredible speeds. Using his powers to help people, he became Central City's hero and protector The Flash. He became a founding member of the Justice League and the uncle/mentor of Wally West, the first Kid Flash. Barry is married to reporter Iris West, the father of their children Don and Dawn and the future grandfather/mentor of Bart Allen (Kid Flash II).
